We bought three of these three years ago in an emergency when our main heater blew. The following winter, we tried to reuse them, and two out of three were broken. The one that did make it to the second year died soon after. I remember when things used to last more than 90 days. Bought this Patton utility heater for emergency use in a small camper. When pluged in it will not properly cycle. The unit will come on, the dial temp is reached and the unit turns off. When heat is again needed the unit may come on for a mili second, a second, two seconds and then turn right back off. It is as if it tries to start and turns right back off as soon as the fan and heating element begin to operate. Don't waste your money on this. I will not buy another! |
